The 2011 cover used the old style orange o-ring for the seal. In 2012 it was updated with a deep grove for the green seal. If you purchase a new cover for 2011-2016 it will use the new style deep grove with a green seal. Please check your housing to make sure you get the correct seal as the housing are interchangeable.
